Fabio Andrés Díaz Pabón is a research fellow on Sustainable Development and the African 2063 agenda, hosted by the African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research (ACEIR) of the University of Cape Town. Research Associate at the Department of Political and International Studies, Rhodes University, South Africa.

Trans-disciplinary researcher that critically engages with global debates regarding governance, development, and justice in the intersection between theory and practice in Africa and Latin America. Applied research experience in Southern Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

Areas of expertise and recent work include development economics, climate change and well-being; poverty; inequality; social movements; conflict and protests amid globalization; transitional justice; public policy; governance and accountability.
