Inequality of emissions between and within countries and financing mechanisms
There is agreement that the responsibility for cutting carbon emissions must be shouldered by the highest-income countries, and by the most privileged social groups in certain low- and middle-income countries; but what mechanisms and policies can guarantee this transfer of resources? In this session, the discussion will tackle this difficult question, focusing both on national and international responsibilities and potential responses.
